Distributed Systems and Autonomy

Welcome to Professor Shinkyu Park's research group

Distributed Systems and Autonomy (DSA)

We explore creative ideas to address fundamental research questions in multi-agent systems, robotics, and control systems. Our group focuses on (1) conceiving novel models and computational methods for multi-agent coordination, and (2) developing and deploying robotic/control systems for monitoring real-world environments (currently we're deploying our underwater robots in Red Sea!)

Please follow the links below to learn more about the currently ongoing projects and the opportunities within the team. We are always looking for enthusiastic candidates (Postdoc / PhD / MS / Internship / Research Engineer) who have expertise in:

  1. Control and optimization theory
  2. System and algorithm design for robot autonomy
  3. Application of machine learning in robotics

If you're interested in joining our group, please let us know your background and research interests by sending your CV and Research Statement.
